President Biden’s public approval rating dropped below 40% for the first time. According to Marist National Poll 39% is a new low for him. This is alarming for the Democrats as we approach the 2022 midterms.
It is no surprise Biden’s approval ratings are so low when he refuses to act in a way that would easily improve them. The country still waits for the Covid-19 vaccine Novavax and for the archivist to publish the Equal Rights Amendment. Us women know that according to the law we are 2nd class citizens and our President is refusing to do anything about it.
We still have no word on what Andrew Cuomo’s next move is. Some people seem extremely upset that he may run as Independent. They say he must run as a Democrat or not at all. At a time when we so desperately need good leadership over partisan politics perhaps it is time to expand the two party system; or demolish it completely.
New York Governor Kathy Hochul has dumped $850 Million to the Buffalo Bills for a new stadium after finally getting $564 Million in casino backpay. People are calling for JCOPE to investigate because this is not an appropriate use of the money. Why not give it to food banks, schools, or literally anything else!
