Criminal Charge Dropped Against Andrew Cuomo! What’s Next for Him?

It’s been 5 months since we updated this blog. (About) 5 months since Governor Andrew Cuomo was forced to resign as Governor of New York. We’ve been very active over on YouTube and our other various social media platforms. We completed both Vlogtober and Vlogmas which was a huge undertaking. We didn’t know how to jumpstart this blog until today. For those of you paying attention, 2022 has been a good year for Andrew Cuomo. Today, 01/07/2022, Brittany Commisso’s case against Cuomo was dismissed and sealed. This was the only criminal complaint against Cuomo. Although it was only a misdemeanor complaint, we are so happy justice prevailed.
This has not been the only round of good news regarding Andrew Cuomo. The Manhattan DA also dropped their probe into the nursing home deaths allegedly caused by Andrew Cuomo and his administration. Along with this, AG Letitia James put a stop to JCOPE’s attempts to seize the profits from Cuomo’s book. The only probe which remains open is the Federal investigation of the harassment accusations against him.
Does this mean his accusers aren’t going to sue him? No, it doesn’t, however, a lawsuit isn’t as black and white as it seems. The first thing we must not forget is that he has the right to counter sue. Also, if the accusers lose they have to pay all of the court fees. Andrew has also publicly stated the women won’t get a penny.
What does this mean for the 2022 Gubernatorial race in New York? Will Andrew run? We think yes. Emotionally, we have been all over the place today. While we had to step away from covering Cuomo news on our YouTube channel due to harassment and bullying from other Cuomo supporters, we never stopped caring. We are eternally grateful to Andrew for everything that he has done and will continue to do. And, you never know what might happen in 2022. Now that we took a couple of weeks off to regroup and rest we are ready to hit the ground running.
Word on the street is that Cuomo will be running for Governor of NY in 2022. We plan on being in New York to campaign and vote for him. Friends, we did it. Our hard work is paying off. While we always knew these accusers never had a solid legal case, it is a huge weight lifted. All we have to do now is wait for the federal case to be dropped. We suspect that’ll happen any day. This is why we always encouraged everyone to remain positive and cautiously optimistic.
As we get into the swing of things for the new year let’s keep our heads high and remain vigilant. We can accomplish anything if we work together. Everything is going as we predicted and we cannot wait to see what happens next!
